I think Sable, my i think 10 month old cat is pregnant! its too early to tell now but my friend left my window open and she got out this morning, my cat was acting really strange last night, wanting to go outside, scratching at the door, meowing alot. I knew she was in hea, and this morning when we found her, we confirmed it, she was walking with her legs spread, and rubbing her rear all over everything, when looking closer we saw she had a dark dry patch on her, we were sure thats where the male had grabbed her..what do you all think?

I think it is best to take Sable to a vet. The vet can look her over and give you a better idea than any of us can. Also...if the vet does not believe she is pregnant, now is the time to have her spayed. Please enforce an indoor only policy for Sable because each time she gets out..is another chance of her becoming pregnant.

If she is in estrus now and got out, the chances are pretty high that she has mated and may be pregnant. You should probably go ahead and get her in to see her vet for an assessment and to discuss going ahead and having her spayed now to prevent this from happening again.

Sorry to hear you are having other problems with you cat...I'm glad you are planning to get her spayed. If you need a low cost clinic, I can try to look one up for you.
