You have to guess what my babies got in the mail today!

ID tags! They are purple stars. The place where they are going to be boarded requires a physical ID tag to be worn on all pets. Microchips aren't enough. Twitch's tag says DEAF CAT on it. Lily doesn't feel special because hers doesn't say anything special!

Lily's pic looks stupid because I picked her while she was playing with her tag. She seems to be having tons of fun with that tag. She never seems to loose that "toy" attached to her collar! Now that she has gotten used to it it has gotten boring & isn't fun anymore.

She'll just have to go back to her toy springs!

these look so cute! I tried tags on Carter and Laura, but they both almost choked themselves and the continuous jingling wasn't their cup of tea, either

If i had to have ID tags on my two, I`d have to staple them on them....they have a FIT when I try to put a collar on them....Toby is really bad, putting his chin down til he can get his bottom teeth under it...and then is CAUGHT, knowing that Mom will rescue him! Tedy just quirks his head around for awhile and then finally lays down an gives me VERY dirty looks....I give up! My cats will have to remain "naked"!

mine didn't like the jingling at first, but they get used to it.

Twitch is 3 1/2 years old, has never worn a collar in her life, & didn't complain one bit when I put her collar on. I bought Lily a new collar today(a toy dog sized one to fit
). Her new collar doesn't have a bell, so she keeps on stoping to check to see if she is wearing a collar. It is weird. It is like she missed the bell noise.

Twitch has been deaf her entire life. It is just "her". That's why I love her so much. She is easy to sneak up on, yet she doesn't get scared one bit. She trusts us so much that when I stepped on her tail(not on purpose) she opened one eye in shock & went back to sleep!
She my deaf little dolly!
