Nope, never got into them. I do have the odd one here and there, like a bat, a crab, a turtle and of course a calico kitty. But otherwise I never did the beanie baby thing....

I have so many beanie babies--mostly cat/kitten ones!

I must have at least 25 of them. Been collecting them since I was 4. Ok, so maybe 25 isn't that many, but it's still a collection right??

I never really got into them, but I have a lot of the ones that I thought were super cute!

I bought most of them when TY said they weren't making anymore!!! They are all retired. I spent way too much money on them!

I know for a fact (as I have MANY myself) that you probably wouldn't get much for them now-a-days just because no one is really looking to buy them
Sadly enough because I could really use the money

I don't know. I was looking on Ebay, and they sell for a good amount, if you have the right ones!

i did an inventory for insurance purposes since our collection is so large-- We have over 1000 of them. Multiples of all of them ( 4 roarys, 10 princess bears, etc) they arent going for much on ebay-- the definatly arent worth what they used to be. Thats why we havent sold any of ours. I still buy them occassionally when i can find them for cheaper than 5 bucks. ( im a cheapskate i know) Our white ones are in display boxes in one of our curios, another 30 or more are taking up the bottom half of another curio and the most of the rest are in a HUGE plastic deck box by rubbermaid in storage. There are few scattered around the house but most of them are in storage as its way too many to display.

They are still fun toys for the kids. So if you have the "non-valuable" beanies, and need Christmas gifts for any kids, I'm sure they would love them! We have a handful, but all are well used by the kids. And I even got some mini McDonalds beanie babies at garage sales-they sell for almost nothing for bags full.

My daughter had a ton and put them on e-bay but she didn't really make anything off of them, more or less what she paid for them, I think she had around two maybe three hundred
plus she had lots of babbies collectable ones she sold even though when she got them she wanted them so bad
she collects all kinds of stuff then finds she doesn't have room for them
She didn't make anything or even get what was paid for the barbie there's just so many of that kind of thing on there.

I had a huge collection of beanie babies. I was really into them. I used to wait outside of stores all night to be the 1st to buy the new beanies when they came out. I even paid $220 for a Britania Bear

I sold most of them about 5 years ago. You won't get anywhere close to as much for them now as you would back then unfortunately.... The fad just died out.

I have around 400 of them. Plus probably 50 Attic Treasures. I had posted them on ebay a few years ago and didn't have much luck selling them.
