My fiance and I have two beautiful kitties, and are really excited to be able to find all the info we need to give them everything they want right here!
Trixie is 8 months old, and she came into our lives at a very hard time. Last April, my finace was diagnosed with a disease much like MS, and he could no longer work until his symptoms were under control. For a previously healthy 24 year old, this was really hard, and with me at work all the time, we decided to get a cat to keep him company at home. This was the best decision we ever made! Not only did she give us plently of love when we were upset with everything that is going on, she makes us laugh, an important thing when life is really hard. Our baby is always there when we come home, at the door, and sleeping by our heads at night...she never likes to be alone, perfect for us!!!
Although we couldn't ask for anymore love, there are lots of cats that need homes, so last week we adopted Tobey, a frightened little black-and grey guy that has warmed up to all of us considerably.
I'm looking forward to learning about how other people had cats comfort them in difficult times, and all the answers to the questions I'm sure I will have with two little ones.
