Well, today is Chay's big day - he's getting neutered today! I'm not particularly worried since I used to volunteer at a vet's clinic and watched neuters and stuff, but I did go ahead and get him the extra tests and fluids during the neuter, just in case. This vet clinic doesn't keep them overnight, so he'll be back later today! Good vibes and prayers for my (not so) little boy please!

Aw, thanks guys! Chay and I appreciate it. They already called me a few hours ago, just two hours after I dropped him off! He woke up fine from anethesia, and I can pick him up at 5. Talk about quick!

Awww.. :bightumb:

I remember when I picked up Poptart and Gordito from their neuter.. Poptart had been done only an hour or two before, but because they were shelter kitties, they didn't want them to spend the night.. they wanted them back in the foster home.. so poor Poptart couldn't even walk.. I had to even hold him up in the litterbox while he took a pee.

Harley is home, we picked him up last night...they kept him overnight, and I really was glad that they did. He is still really sensitive/sore today, he just lets out a little meow when it hurts, but he was really lovey and cuddly with me last night when we got home.

He really hated the vet....I'm just glad that my baby is home with me and not stressing out in that little kennel anymore!

Does Chay like the vet? Harley just HATES it...he was hissing and shaking and everything....I hope he never has to go back for a long period of time!

He's so laid back, he usually doesn't care. Some meowing on the way there, a little bit on the way back, and last time he hid in Billy's carrier when I let him. But he's never done a lot of hissing, even when he first got here. He probably fussed for a little bit, and then calmed down and went to sleep.

Lucky you! They said that Harley hissed and was upset the whole time, that made me feel even worse about making him stay overnight!

It was for his own good though, you know that even if he doesn't. He'll forgive you and forget all about it soon enough.

Chay's home - a little grouchy, but he's home, and doing pretty well.
