Hello!
My husband and I are the proud parents of Abbigail...she is going to be 16 years old in January...we think that is how old she is going to be anyways, had her since 1990...I graduated from highschool in 1992!! She has always been a timid cat, the vet said that she had been 'traumatized' previously, apparently someone brought her into an animal shelter...she had been thrown into a backyard with dogs as a kitten or something like that. She is doing very well for her age...her last vet visit was very good...he couldnt believe how good she looked for how old she is! We recently adopted a puppy, Alexis, from the local animal shelter, Alexis is absolutely adorable! Abbigail hasn't taken to Alexis, i think she sees her as an intruder and annoyance more than anything! But Alexis is submissive to Abbigail and listens to Abbigail when Abby tells Alexis how she feels! Any advice on how to make their relationship any better? Alexis is in a kennel while we are at work and Abbigail has places she can go if she doesn't want to be around Alexis.
