Hello all,

My fiancÃ[emoji]169[/emoji] and I are going to be travelling from Toronto to Montreal around New Year's, and I was wondering if you could tell me if our reasoning is on the right track. We've made this trip several times already, but this is the first time we'll bringing our kitten with us. So our reasoning is as follows: rent a minivan, load it up with the dog's large crate so we can put Nikita and her litter box in there (more room for her to move around in for her first 6 hour trip since we adopted her), load the dog in with her seatbelt, as well as our other packs and luggage, and off we go?

Also, this is the first time we'll be introducing Nikita to my mom's 2 resident, adult cats. I think Nikita and Elmo will be fine. They've both got the same personality, but I'm a bit more cautious of Kermitte, who'se a bit more of a solitary creature. I'm guessing it would be best to keep all the cats seperated until they've had a chance to "sniff each other out"?

We're only in Montreal for 3 days, so I'm guessing it's not the end of the world if the cats don't meet face to face, huh?
