I am a Maine Coon breeder and I would want to ask you how can stop the oestrus to one of my queens, which now is a nursing mother (1 1/2 month). I heard that I can give her hormones to stop the cycle, but I am afraid for her health and for babiesâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji] health.
Thanks all for your time.

Its probably best to just let her go through the heat. My coworker had a Maine Coon that by the time the kittens were 10 weeks old her cat had been in heat 3 times.

Unfortunatelly I had my queens room is close to other cats place and I am scared to don't have an accident with someone of my boys. I am know that it's would be very bad my queen to be pregnant so soon.
I have my cattery about 4 years and this is my first litter. I must admit that I am a little comfuse with these situation.

Most methods of bringing a cat out of heat can be unsafe. You probably should keep the queen and her litter seperated from any other cats anyway, especially as you don't want her to get pregnant again so soon (and whole males can be unpredictable around kittens). Its just apart of making your cattery work by providing quarters that will protect your cats well-being. She probably should be kept isolated from a stud anyway until you are certain you want her to breed and that way there are no surprise breedings. This also will help in knowing exactly when the kittens will be born.

Most catteries allow the stud a room in the house or an outdoor run and enclosure, or various other things. The important thing is that they are kept seperate until you think your queen is ready for another breeding.

This thread talked about different ways of bringing a cat out of heat. Most techniques are unsuccessful/dangerous and the only reason she needed to do them is her cat couldn't be fixed because of a heart murmur and the stress of heat is also not good for the heart so she was in a catch 22. However, some ideas were brought up; just have to determine for yourself if its worth it:

Thank you so much all for your help. I readed the thread that you mention me. I hadn't readed before. I am sure anymore that pills or hormones maybe harm my baby. I will do the best that I could to hold my boys away from my girl.
Wish to all MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR
