Well i havent been on as much as i like since my FIL died almost 2 weeks ago and we have busy with his estate and us moving to Texas. the day before FIL died, Hubby went down to deer camp and got his dads camper trailer at his dads request. In the rush to get back to the hospital, he parked it at his dads house and left it closed. My SIL called tonite and said that it reeks-- she can smell it from her front porch-- over a months worth of food was left in the freezer and fridge with the camper trailer on NO electricity.

Im going over there tomorrow morning to help SIL clean it up. ( We have inherited the camper trailer and plan to use it) I know i need to get some baking soda fridge and freezer boxes to absorb odors but what else can i use to clean out the built in fridge/freezer? bleach water do ok or what? is there anything i can use to clean that will help with the odors? Anyone been in this kinda situation? HELP!!!!!!

You may wind up replacing the fridge anyway, so if it can be removed, take it to a car wash and pressure wash it thoroughly inside. If it still stinks after that, I don't know what to tell you. Your local RV dealer might have an idea.

Try using Mean Green Orange Cleaner. You can buy it an any dollor general store. I use it for EVERYTHING and it works SO well. When I moved here the fridge was putrid smelling
and I used the mean grean on it. Smelled brand new and was clean as a whistle!
