What about Angel Food candy????? Even though a couple of the chocolate shoppes make and sell it all yr round!!! Its got to be dark chocolate though.

Wyan-turtles are quite easy to make - on wax or parchment paper place nuts (such as cashews or pecans. Pour melted carmels on top then the melted chocolate. Very easy!!!

Fudge is popular- easy Rachel Rays's 5 minute fudge ( I think the recipe is on Orpah's website)
I make instead of chocolate chip cookies M&M cookies.
But I think my waistline is expanding as I write.

Ok, kidding! You'd just be a rebound!
Oh, I think I was supposed to write something about....oh, yeah, treats....hmmm....I'm not too into candy or even Christmas cookies, but my aunt makes these cookies out of Keebler crackers and then she pours like butter and I think brown sugar and nuts on them...they're my favorite!
Just a rebound? How about bed-bound, or maybe bound and cuffed?
(Just kidding!) Anyway, that Keebler recipe sounds good Shannon!

I have only heard of Ferrero Rocher.

I usually eat my granny's muffles - they are truffles with marshmallows added to them and I don't normally like marshmallows, but she cuts them up into tiny pieces and they are sooo yummy. I can't think of anything off the top of my head that we only eat at Christmas.
Do you mean the truffles that grow in the ground Kellye?

Those would have to be good too!
All I had was cereal today. I need to eat something tasty.

my mother's family is from south louisiana, so my absolute favorite christmas treat is crawfish casserole.
this is different from either etoufee or creole, & better than both of them. since i'm allergic to all water dwellers, i can only indulge a couple of times each year - christmas is one of them!
as fare a snacky things go, my mom makes a cereal/nut/fruit mix, like chex mix but sweet - also
& she also makes this thing we call cheese cookies - look kinda like pecan sandies, but made w/cheese & cayenne pepper & pecans - wonderful!

Jason and I have a christmas tradition. We go to the candy/chocolate shop, and buy eachother 20 bucks worth to fill eachothers stocking with. ^.^

I love Mon Cheri stuff, and aftereights.. but I really just all around love ritter sport yoghurt flavour! (but that's year round, that one)

But oh! I always buy ribbon candy around christmas. It's a must!

That's something I usually only have around Christmas

Gingerbread men are yummy too. But the best thing about them is to make them and decorate them. I used to make them with the normal gingerbread man / woman shape and also moose-shaped (I WAS living in Northern Ontario at the time
)
Seeing about Gingerbread men reminded me of when our eldest Granddaughter was 4 yrs old she had just had a baby brother! we were making gingerbread men and she made the only pornoghaphic gingerbreadmen I have ever seen!

I can't remember what they're called either, but I love them!

Also, I love the Reese's trees (and Easter eggs) more peanut, less chocolate!

I made some incredibly yummy iced gingerbread snowflake cookies a couple weeks ago for some cookie swap parties. They were soooo good!
But my "traditional" favorite Christmas treat is Archway Pfeffernuese cookies!!! Yummmmmmmmmm!
