My kitten is somewhere between 10-12 weeks old and I got the kitten size Soft Paws. They're still too big but I really want to put them on because she's coming with me to my parent's house for Christmas, I'm also ending up with a lot of scratches on my legs from when she jumps in my lap. I know it says you can trim the Soft Paws down, has anybody done that? Do you do it with scissors or nail clippers or what?
Thanks!

you would do it with kitchen shears, as I recall, because the plastic is rather sturdy. I've never heard this problem before but then, I don't know that they're often put on kittens so young.

on the site they say 12-16 weeks. I would wait a week or 2 and see if that helps, kittens grow so fast, you never know. of course, as it says , trimming is an option, but trim only one, and see if the clawcap fits properly before gluing, please!
