I just switched Murphy to purina one because of the better ingredients. Has anyone else used it??? Is it a good cat food? Murphy seems to like it ok.

If I used Purina it would be Pro plan... Purina one is like Iams in many ways... not bad but for the price you can get things with no by products , grd corn ...

It's better than Cat Chow but it would be much better to feed Nutro or better yet, Chicken Soup. They are comparably priced with much better ingredients.

chicken soup for the price on the big bags is so much better and realatively easy to get... I serve Nutro but I have only one cat on dry food so $$ is nt a huge deal

I used to feed Charlotte Purina One. It was definitely an improvement over the Cat Chow. Now I feed her and Izzie Natural Balance. I think it's even better than Purina One and it's really not much more expensive.

Just to let you know my cats won't touch Chicken Soup so I wouldn't buy a big bag until you are sure.

I used Purina One for a short time, then after researching on this site, swapped to Nutro Natural Choice, and Marlee loves it!! I actually posted about something yesterday, about Marlee eating less recommended. A lot of people's kittens did the same, I guess b/c its a good food that is filling to them. So even if it is a little more expensive (I can't remember the price difference b/t Purina One and Nutro, if there was one) it may be worth it since the bag could last longer.

I found it at my local County Max, and at Pet Smart.
