Sorry about not writing sooner, I've been spending tons of time next to him. He came home last night. Doctor just said I was being overly cautious and he really likes that because some owners let things get bad and not really want to deal with it. The blood is normal in this case as long as it isn't gushing. He had the surgery a week ago today and he looks to be healing nicely. He is experiencing pain of course from the urine going down over the stitches. Poor Baby! He is eating well! I am keeping a heater near him since it's been cold, he seems to enjoy that. I am boarding him starting on Friday through mid-week next week. I am doing that because I want him to have the utmost care when I am away..I can rest to knowing someone is really watching him 24-7! By time I get back, I am sure things will be so much better!

Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts, PM's, emails and Instant messages, I have learned to deal with this with all of that. I love you all!

Going to take Mittens back in in about an hour. He's been urinating fine, but now has some poop that won't come out
Really gross--and I can tell he isn't happy about it. I think he doesn't want to try and get it out because it's so painful around that area. I am hoping he can make it through the next hour without any real pain...

Ok, back...with a very sore finger...fyi, don't put your hand in front of them when they are doing stuff to him! I am defintely going to feel this in the morning! (Getting sized for my class ring tomorrow, unfortunately it's the same one...oh boy)...

He was definitely plugged up, and they couldn't get it out, so they had to put him under to give him the enema. He didn't want to push it out, obviously since he is really sore in that area. Since the original plan was to drop him off in the morning for a week for boarding, I asked them if it was better to leave him--and they said ok. I am gonna visit him in the morning and then I won't see him for almost a week. I do hope that things go smoothly for the week and he doesn't suffer to much--and he heals nicely. I am suppose to call back after 4 to see how he is doing. Hopefully, ok...

Thanks Danielle
I couldn't leave him at home without supervised care for so long. If there is an emergency, they will be right there for him too
