I noticed that my feral has been (from what it looks like) saves some food for her friends. Do cats do this?

Cats Saving Food?

That is what our pet cats are doing when they bring us things they have killed, as presents. They are sharing with their family. So I guess ferals do it too.
The stray I feed saved half of her canned food for her two kittens, and regurgitated food for them. Now that they are on their own she has gained alot of weight since she no longer shares her food.

thanks for the info. Also what are ways to find out if the cat is homless or a outside pet?
put a collar on it with your number and a note asking any owner to call you.
