I want to keep Abi out of the formal dining room. there are doors to theother rooms I want to keep her from, but not the dining room. SO i was going to try a scat mat. Do they work?

I taught her in two rings not to walk on my keyboard by ringing a hand bell every time she touched the notoebook so I know she learns very quickly.

Thanks in advance

I bought one to keep my cats out of our dining room where my roomates bedroom is and they simply jumped over it. It is very good for keeping cats off furniture though/I put it on my roomates antique desk when I let the cats roam outside my room in the apartment and they have learned to stay off the desk.

that's what i was afraid of, we have a 12 inch wall of balled up aluminum foil in the arch way now and she keeps away from that but it sorta detracts from the decor

My husband just doesn't want her on the dining room table so maybe I will try it for that. sigh.......
