gah. every time i clean out pouncer's litterbox, i notice that she likes to pee at the sides of the box, rendering the newspaper and wet litter to clump up the sides and give me a heck of a time trying to scoop. she doesn't like the middle, despite that the litter there is clean and dry. she didn't use to pee up the sides of the box like that- is there a reason why?

mine prefer the corners to pee in too. i assumed its because they feel safer there, no-one can ambush them from behind with their backs to the wall.

maybe the litter trays too small for her now?

My Cupid has always done that also. I think it's just personal preference. He likes the corners especially. They might feel a little more secure?

some cats wud pick a spot (favorite) to pee or poo. i guessed it is normal for them to pee/poo at 1 corner..

hm, okay, i suppose it's nothing to worry about then. i just thought it was weird that all of a sudden she would start going in corners rather than in the middle like she used to. o_O

thanks!
