A friend called today wanting to give me a black and white male tuxedo cat that is less than a year old. (The friend knows about how I lost Max in July). Anyway the cat has been neutered and had rabies shot. That is all. He has not been tested for anything else or vaccinated for anything else. I have two cats, Speedboat (9) and Muffin (6 yrs.). They are neutered and vaccinated for Feline Leukemia annually and also FVRCP annually. They live outside all the time in a fence enclosure. My question is what would the new cat need to be tested for before exposing my two cats to him. I feel like because it is a young cat, there would not be dominance issues between them. Please voice opinions and advice.
