Confused on what to feed

How much better (nutrition) is Petsmart's Authority Wet food than Store brand wet foods? Picking out a quality food for my cats is driving me CRAZY!!!! I currently self feed Science diet rice and chicken(1/4) mixed with Sceince diet light (1/4) (because shamus is getting chubby)mixed with Science diet natures best chicken(1/2). In addition I feed canned food (fancy feast and Blue Spa salmon and Tuna) twice a day 1/2 a 3 oz can each 12 hours apart. I know the mods dont want any bashing so keep it toned down but would it be ok to replace either fancy feast or blue spa with petsmart authority brand? Blue spa seems to have good ingredients but I am not sure if they are all necessary and I have heard that fancy feast is OK but is sort of like fast food for kitties. Any suggestions would be great since I am confused and going insane comparing food labels. This pet food thing is crazy/ I wish there was better regulation so I wouldnt have to worry about it. Authority is usually much higher quality ... it has no by products ( cept organs) , no corn in the wet foods , no chemical preservatives..

FF has some good ones by product and wheat free but I have only found one in my area and the girls didnt like..

Blue spa is good to many veggies and grains for me, but as a treat I will give the girls the salmon one..
