Last night I came home and John wasn't home yet, which I thought was odd, cuz he gets off work at 4:30 and I get done at 5.
So I'm at home playing with Harley and John comes running in and delivers some awful news. Matt's (John's best friend) father, who is around the age of 50, had collapsed at his home and was being rushed to the ER, so John was going to go to the hospital with Matt just to be there for him.

So they get there, and after doing tests, Matt's dad can't see, hear or talk
They did some further tests and flew him to Madison where they find out that he had a massive brain annurism (spelled wrong).

Matt's mother died when he was only 12, he has no aunts, uncles, or family, except 2 sisters and an older brother.

Please please please send some of those strong vibes towards Matt and his family. I feel so horrible knowing that I can't do anything to help.

Thank you to everyone

They have a good hospital in Madison. Hoping his condition improves.

Sending many, many good vibes that this turns out well. 'Tis the season for miracles, after all.

I know, I feel so horrible for them, I just wish I could do something. I just feel so bad cuz its the holiday season, this is his only parent...I just pray and thank god for the loving family I have....I just want to cry thinking about his horrible situation!

I hope so too

I've never delt with anyone having a brain annurism--what are the chances of him pulling thru with something like this?

I think it's similar to a stroke - it depends on the severity and the prior health of the patient. I do hope he recovers and is home for Christmas..

I don't know, maybe everyone is different, but my 3 people in my family had them and unfortunately, they did pass away. Maybe his will be different, I hope!

depends on how much damage was done, & how successful therapy is afterwards. also on whether or not he has a repeat episode. basically, an aneurysm is an enlarged portion of blood vessel that can burst under pressure. you can read about them here.
{{{{{{vibes}}}}}} & [[[[[[prayers]]]]] for him! keep us posted.
