I think we wound up with maybe 4 inches at most. Which is a relief, can't deal with much more than that!

We got ours yesterday. There is about a total of 7 inches on the ground. My back is killing me. They say more for this weekend!

Yucky snow! We got about an inch last night before it changed to freezing rain and what not. The roads were yucky this morning! My boss gave us all a 2hr delay. Her husband's truck door froze shut last night. So when he finally got it open and got the truck running he went back in the house. Litterally 2 minutes later it had frozen shut again. All the pinging and tinging on the roof was something. I'm glad that storm has passed!

I had a snow day today!!!!!!

I havent had one of them since Highschool...which was like 6 years ago..... ...

Usually I hate snow...but ummm when the snow prevents me from taking a final I wasnt really prepared for...I have to say..."let it snow let it snow let it snow"...

Those snow pictures are so beautiful. I wish I could get all cozy with a hot cocoa and a fireplace blazing with the cold and snow outside. But alas that will probably never happen here in Southern California.

We are. They're calling for 15-25 centimeters (about 5-10 inches).

LOL! I was like "what kind of frosted glass is that? It looks really weird!" then I figured out it was snow!
Love the shot of the tree all frosted over. You take some really beautiful photos.

Yep, born and raised in Attleboro, MA. Been in MN for 12 years now. Very cold out here, but since I've left the east coast has gotten much more snow than we have! Hey, any of you remember the blizzard of 78? That was a blast!

I'm not sure how much snow fell last night, but there's quite a bit of it on the ground. It's pretty, I love how the snow stuck to the trees. Although because it was that kind of snow, we lost power early this morning (around 2am) and we finally got it back around 11am. It was soooooo cold in the house!

Anyway, here's some pics I took this morning, after we'd finished shovelling.

Chester checking out the melting icicles...

Great pics, Linda! I love it when it's wet and sticks to the trees

Those pictures of the snow on trees are beautiful!!

The unfair thing is that we have maybe a half an inch that is really icy and that is cool, but for my birthday paintball "party" we went into Indiana(we live in Kentucky) they had at least four inches!! So unfair. Only about 30 miles north of us anyway.

Fantastic pictures. Are those icicles in the last picture with Chester looking out?

It's been snowing off and on all day here. We're supposed to get more tonight. We have 3 or 4 inches where I live, but they have more east of here....in the snow belt area.

Well we've had 3-5 for the past few days and 5-7 today into tomorrow... I hate snow

whats even more fun is when you pull up to your street to find the street has yet to be plowed. a good 5 inches of snow on the road, up a hill. good thing i have a little jeep

or people who try to go 70+ miles/hour on snow/ice covered roads. made my commute home from pittsburgh an extra 20 mintues and 4 wrong turns because some idiot doesn't know how to drive in the snow.
