Not here, they still have the prime time shows on, but Fox has coverage with interviews, pics, etc.

Holy crap, that's wild!!!
I hope no one was killed....

Hope nothing like that ever happens at my local airport...it's on the top of a mountain, and the runway ends where the mountain drops off!!

Thanks. My 17 y/o ds flies Southwest out of Midway airport close to twice a month! Just very freaky to me, too close to home!

I'm glad it seems there were no injuries on the plane. The airport is shut down probably until morning! And on TV they are showing the plane still sitting in the street, although it happened about 1-1/4 hrs ago.

4 passengers were trapped in a car, all in serious to critical condition after the jaws of life were used to free them.
What a scary night they are having! Prayers for their recovery!

Oy that is scary! A few months ago my co-worker's great niece and her niece's husband were killed in thier car when a small plane was flying too low and hit them. That is what this all is making me think of.

If you are talking the Charleston airport - it already has at least once... more than that I think.

I am relieved to hear that it was not as serious as it could have been in Chicago.

Yikes!

Oooh, I missed most of WGN news, doing litterboxes and feeding the kittens!

They cut into CSI with a big special report on CBS. It sounds like there is one person very seriously hurt, a few others moderately hurt and mostly, people are just scared.

There's not much room for error at Midway...I hate flying into there. At points you're so close to the rooftops, you feel like you'll be joining them for dinner! Then today with about 9 inches of snow...yikes! I'm sure the cars were just sitting there bumper-to-bumper, and Central's a major street...sitting ducks when the plane skidded into them.

I've heard several conflicting reports in regards to injuries...hopefully the report about the little boy dying is not true.

That happens far too often anymore. My heart goes out to the family of that little boy....so tragic. I know that people need to get where they are going but I would like to see happen in the big airports that happens here. If the runways look too slick the airport manager just closes it down and you have to go elsewhere..it's just not worth the risk.
