We have a new cat who seemed to be a stray hanging out with a feral colony. He has a mild URI. I have some Terramycin powder used for treating swine, calves, sheep etc. has anyone had experience with Terramycin to treat any possible bacterial sides of the URI? If so, what dosage of the powder should be administered per pound of weight? Thanks,
Robb =^..^=

I thought that it was an eye ointment, but maybe there are other uses for the drug?? I would talk to a vet for advice, you don't want to give him something in the wrong dosage or something.

I wouldnot give this to the cat. Its best to take the cat into your vets. And let them prescribe the right med and dosage.

I wouldn't use that either especially if it is originally intended for other animals. I have only used Terramycin for eyes as an ointment. I have never heard of it as a powder.
