Hello everyone!
I came across this site yesterday and I already love what I have seen so far.
I have three children. Tori is a black and white 12 year old dsh, Sienna is a 4 1/2 month old brown tabby (dsh), and Kirby is my three year old pug.
I recently lost my 19 year old cat Kiaira, (basically my other half) in September to CRF. The battle was long, and very emotional. After I put her down I felt like I had lost my best friend...I miss her terribly. Things do get a little better as the weeks pass but there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of her.
Sienna came into our lives about a month or so after that. I wasn't actively looking for another cat at the time due to what I had just gone through; however, I happened to see her picture/bio on an adoption site and I knew we were meant for each other. She is such a sweet little girl, but like many kittens, mischief is her middle name. lol
I have had Tori since she was a kitten. At 12 years old, she still has her "kitten" moments and is quite the talker. She can carry on a conversation with me for quite some time. Other than her asthma, she is in great health.
Even though this is a cat website, I still want to briefly mention Kirby. I have had this little boy since he was a pup. He is very smart and can do a variety of tricks, including bowing on command. He is the most loveable and affectionate little guy.
Anyway, I just thought I would introduce my family to you all. I look forward to reading, posting, and getting to know all of you.
