Hello all!
I would like to introduce myself and my two sons Anubis and Teal'C. For starters my name is Angie and I am a first time kitten owner of Anubis and Teal'C (I am not sure what kind of cats they are all I know is that they are Black) Anubis and Teal'C are brothers - a friend of mine took in their mother and low and behold she was prego. Me and my daughter went and picked them up a few months ago (as soon as we had our own place) Anubis and Teal'C are approx 5 1/2 months old. Some background:
Anubis - He was named after the Egyption god of the underworld - and boy does that fit him. He is large in my opinon for his age. And he prances around my house like he owns the place (which he does) He hates the outside expecially now that in Michigan it is a steamy 10* outside. I think he realizes that it is nice and toasty and comfy in the house why get his paws dirty. Anubis loves water - he is constaintly near the sink and whenever I get water from our drink dispencer him (as well as his brother) come running at the sound of water and try to knock the cup or dish out of my hand. I spoil him as he is "my cat" (Teal'C is the one my daughter picked out and is "her cat") He is very picky and sometimes not a "people person" he cuddles when he feels like it! but he is beautiful and I luv him (even if he is attaching my X-Mas tree whenever he gets a chance)
Teal'C - He is the rebel of the family. He was named after my fav tv character from Stargate SG1 on Sci-Fi channel. As with his bro he likes the water and is in the bathtub after the water lets out. He is also a big trouble maker. He loves anything he can get his paws on just to play with or bat around. His nickname is also "Lover" as my daughter calls him - he love people and constaint attention! (which we love and I believe my daughter love too much) He also sounds like a helicopter when you touch him cuz he purrrrs so much - he is small - but wasnt the runt of the litter. And even though Anubis is king of the castle Teal'C "holds his own" with his brother even to the fact the he wins most of the wrestling matches.
