Well, just got the news that lily's babies have died.
The vet think she obsorbed them when she was being treated for her liver infection.
It is so sad. Next step is spay so we can adopt her to a great home!

Oh my....

I am truly saddened by this. When I seen you posted on your "vibes please" thread that the news was here, I was already sad.

I know you were waiting for only good news, and nothing but bad news came. But there is light, Lily is alive, and now maybe she can go to good home, I am really sad.

I hope everything is ok with you...try & be happy.

Oh those poor babies!, I'm very sorry to hear that the news was bad. I hope Lily finds a loving home after all she has been through.

Condolences to you and Lilly on the sad loss. Sweet babies, may they romp & play & entertain the angels over RB.
At least you rescued Lilly, and her babies have passed on without knowing the hardships, suffering & fear that are too often a part of a feral cat's life. Please give Lilly some scritches behind the ears for me and know that I am praying that she finds a wonderful forever home very soon.

I am sorry that Lily's babies are gone. Although my brain knows it has a good side, since there are too many kittens in the world...I know how I felt when Sugartoes lost some of her kittens. They were still expected by you, and already loved by you, weren't they? And although there are too many cats and kits, those in rescue do try to save one at a time.

I think Lily's body knew she could not keep those precious little babies. I am sorry for your loss.
