This morning housemate John left for a month's vacation, and I am so happy! The quiet in the house is great, no interminable TV news channel, no empty bottles, no fast food smells and best of all, no wondering what he is doing with the kits - he feeds them the wrong things and now that I am letting Wellington and Napoleon out in the garden under supervision, John thinks they can go out anytime and I have found them in the garden several times when I didn't know they were out! They don't go far, but I want to make sure they know their way around before I relax. So I intend to enjoy this time on my own to the full.

I hope you have started a countdown calendar for France. And did they ever find your car?

I'm hoping France in February/MArch. The semester ends at the end of JAnuary but the boys can't travel for three months after their blood tests. Also the house won't be ready till then judging by present progress. But it might move faster if I were there. There is terrific pressure on me to stay here till June but I am hoping I can resist it. And no, my car is gone for good. Now that I have sold my London flat and have some cash, I am thinking about buying another in time for hte move. Oh, and TCSers are welcome to visit - at least I know you will respect my wishes in regard to the kits!

It will be so nice to have the place to yourself (I mean humans!!)
So are you getting excited about the move, new house etc..
It will be a big adjustment I bet.
I should know more in about a month about my European trip-I'll keep you posted.
