Anyone know of a good brush for a long haired cat with a very thick coat? I have an undercoat rake that helps prevent matts and a comb to get out the tangles but what can I use to make the coat look full so poor Sampson doesn't look like a ragamuffin.
btw I do comb him often....

I know of a really good comb that you get at PetsMart. It looks like a regular metal tooth comb but the teeth rotate. I don't remember what it's call but it comes in two sizes. I would also groom him at least 3 times a week. If I find out the name, I will post it.

Sometimes when the LH cats get oil build up in thier coats, they will look flat. You can either keep him on a regular bathing schedule, or you can put a little baby powder (not too much) on him and fluff his coat with a wide tooth comb.
