Need prayers, please...

Hey everybody,
I need to request some prayers/vibes for one of our Sisters, Mary Alice.
She was diagnosed with cancer a few years ago. It went into remission, but is now back in full force and has spread. We just learned that she has little hope for survival, even with treatment, and she is moving from the hospital to hospice later this week. She's still relatively young, so this is very unexpected. Whatever prayers/vibes you can spare for Mary Alice and our other Sisters would be appreciated.

Thanks to all of you for the prayers and support! I'll be sure to pass them on to Mary Alice. I was planning to stop by the hospital to visit with her after work, but just had a message that she's being moved to hospice this afternoon. This is all happening so quickly. I can't imagine that we might be celebrating Christmas without Mary Alice. She's such sweet, faith-filled lady.

Mary Alice and all of the loving people who care about her have been added to my prayer list.

I am sorry to hear about Mary Alice, I work for the Canadian Cancer Society so I know how these things can sneek up on people. We still don't know what causes Cancer to come back with such avengance and it's very hard for friends and family to acccept. My Prayers and best wishes to you and her family.

My Mom lived her last few months at a hospice, and I found the staff to be so wonderfully helpful. I hope Mary Alice and her loved ones find the hospice experience to be helpful, too.
