As many of you have followed, Cassie and Napoleon generally haven't had the *easiest* of introductions, but hey, who does right?
They still bicker, but it's more like an old married couple now than two cats who hate each other (which I'll take any day)
The last two mornings have melted my heart though
The last two mornings, Cassie and Napoleon have fallen asleep on my bed before I leave for work. This is truly a tremendous breakthrough.
As much as two months ago, they still could not stand each other and one would kick the other out of bed at night LOL. We moved recently and then I was away on business for three weeks...and my BF told me they kept vigil on my side of the bed
Now, they both sleep with us at night (sometimes, Cassie *tells* Napoleon he's sleeping on the couch
but that doesn't last very long anymore)...and now the whole thing with them on the bed together.
Granted they don't groom one another...they still fight...and even on the bed one gets the "top" and the other gets the "foot"...but I had to share because if someone told me even two months ago they would be getting along famously...I would have laughed in their face...My cats?? yeah right!!!!
