Do cartoons count?
I have always loved "The Year without a Santa Claus". It's the one with "Heat Miser" and "Snow Miser".

I love the Christmas Story! I love when its on 24 straight hours on Xmas eve and Xmas day!! I just absolutely love it, haha
Last year I got my Uncle (who is an avid lover with me) the leg lamp!! Its so awesome! This year I got him a talking Ralphie doll....

I also love the cartoons, especially Rudolph! Does Charlie Brown's Christmas count? I love Charlie Brown! Oh yeah-and the Grinch too, the cartoon is the best version, I like it better than the newer one w/ Jim Carrey-although that was a great movie!

Christmas in Connecticut
A Christmas Story (played too much unfortunately - but funny)
It's a Wonderful Life (great movie, but they ran it sooo much I became sick of it)

Christmas Cartoons/Specials
Year Without a Santa Clause, The Christmas Toy (a muppet special that they never play) and Ziggy's Gift. I have the last two on tape because they don't play them. I also like a cartoon called Annabelle's Wish about a cow.

What about Miracle on 34th St.! I like that movie. That and the old Xmas cartoons with Burl Ives. Brings back lots of childhood memories!

"The Wizard of Oz" - I know it's not a Christmas movie per se, but they always show it on christmas day, so it's kind of a tradition

The one with Chevy Chase, where they put up lights on their house and he bring in a tree with a creature in it. I love it! Also the Scrooge movies and maybe the Grinch if I catch it on. I love the old-timey Scrooge movies.

Well, I dearly love the old cartoon Grinch, of course...

And for me, Christmas is a great excuse to watch the Toy Story movies again...

But there must be something severely wrong with me, because my favorite actual MOVIE set at Christmas is... Die Hard.

I'm a sick woman, I know...

I'm almost embarassed to say this, but I've always loved the California Raisins Christmas Special. Such cheesy goodness!

Other favourites include Scrooged, The Ref, The Christmas Story and the Muppet Christmas Carol. Oh, and the Grinch (the original animated version, with Boris Karloff), of course!

That's one of my husband's too! And Lethal Weapon.

Our favorite is A Christmas Story. We have to watch it while we're opening presents on Christmas day. And when we're done. Oh, and when we're at my family's house on Christmas Eve. We actually caught it the day after Thanksgiving this year too. We probably watch that movie at least 5 times every year.

How The Grinch Stole Christmas is a classic. The cartoon, of course. It seemed like heresy when they made it a live action movie, so I've never seen that (and probably never will!).
