Vibes please

Well, I am sitting here waiting for the verdict of my foster cat lily!! I took her in a month ago and was told she was pregnant. She had a bad liver infection, but it was taken care of.
I am just nervous now that she has lost her babies. I sent her to the vet today to confirm weither or not she is still pregnant. I hope she is. She is such a sweet cat. I am waiting for my former co-worker to bring her back. I am having serious doubts

No they will have to do an ultrasound to see if there are heartbeats!

No, she works there. So she just took her with on her afternoon shift. They close in a half hour. I am going crazy!!!

Averee is my little angel. I got her from someone who found her by the lake. She was one a day old if that. I hand raised her, feeding, and making her urinate every two hours for weeks. She was my pride and joy. When she was about 5 months old I had her spayed, and after that she began to sleep more. I thought is was normal because a couple of my other cats did the same after they were spayed.
Well I let it go on too long. I took her to work with me and I had her examined by one of the vets. Then she called in another vet! That's not good I told them. The vet found a mass inside her. They did an ultrasound, x-rays and exploritory surgery. It was a absecessed lymphoid in the mesentery. Basically where everything is attached inside the organs. She didn't do well after surgery. I had her on 5 different antibiotics and she wasn't eating well. Nothing worked, it was all down hill. She had a fever that would go back and forth, up to 106 sometimes. Through it all she stilled purred when I held her.
Truely unsure what it was $2000 later. Some say it was FIP. I will never know. She fought so damn hard! I miss her so badly, I still cry about it!

Oh my gosh! I am so sorry about that little baby. That is soo sad.

I've noticed my new kitten has sort of a lump on one side of his belly, but I am too afraid to know what it is. The thought in my mind that it is something bad sits there and bothered me all day, but I dont talk about it. Im surprised I actually said anything about it. I just found it this morning, I've only had him for a week.

Well, Words can not express what I am feeling right now!!! I can't say any of the words on the site!!!
I guess my friend had to leave work early to go to PT. So she told one of the doctors to look at her and give me a call to pick her up. My friend just got home and told me this. They are now closed, I got no information and Lily is stuck in a little cage overnight!!! I am beyond mad right now!

OH MY GOSH!!! I AM SO MAD!!

That makes me so angry...Go get her, call the vet if someone is there, tell them you are comming to get her, there is no reason she needs to be locked up in that cage and all stressed out when she could be at home with you. I am mad. If NO ONE is there, call the emergency Number, and say..."this IS an emergency, I am comming to get my baby."

Especially if she IS in fact pregnant, than she needs to be at home. This is going to make her sad.

I just called the vet and left a message for the doctor to call me. I also emailed another doctor to see if I can find out anything. My friend is going to go get lily in a little while for me.

Oh, that is pretty bad! I also foster, and sometimes it is hard with so many people "helping" out. I'm glad you will get her later tonight. I hope all is well with little Lily.
