Zoey is insisting on going out in her yard in the snow and temps under 30 degrees F... Has anyone heard of a cat snow suit??

I think more than anything I'd want to protect those paws...you can get little boots designed for toy dog breeds that I'm sure would work.

well my girly girl is never allowed out and shes 10. my bfs cat, whos also 10 is allowed out.... i had to move in with him so at first i thought there would be a problem but no. his cat meows to go out and scratches to come in. and hes been going out even today when it was 12 degrees earlier. Apparently as we all know, cats are smart and he just comes rite back in within a half hour, where in the summer hed stay out all day. so i dont think you need to 'do' anything. they dont wanna stay out there that long.

Mine love the snow at first, then come in after 30 minutes or so and make for hte nearest radiator! As long as they can get in then there is no problem, I think. They know when they are feeling cold.

Some of my local forum pals have knitted their cats their very own sweaters, really cute ones.
As for 30F, most cats (at least basic European/American shorthair kind) do just fine in that temperature bare naked, unless they're the type that gets UTI easily, like my Usva. Because of Usva we can't go out during winter anymore, I don't want her to be left alone inside when others get to have fun.
