Good god to me he looks pretty dead in that photo...
I know thats a terrible thing to say but what a shame, he would look so much better if he had hair. Im sure he was sweet though...

Okay, I think I'm just weird. The more I look at this dog, the cuter he gets. I'll bet he was a really friendly dog. I feel sorry for his owner.
If I remember correctly, she entered him into that contest because there was a pretty big cash prize, which would help her pay for some of the vet work that Sam needed done. She absolutely adored him, regardless of his outward appearance. May Sam rest in peace.
