My foster cat, who I was told was pregnant, her nipples are big, but not red. She is supposed to be due around this next weekend, should I feel milk in the glands?Originally Posted by gayef
Usually at about three weeks or so into the pregnancy you might notice the nipples "pinking up" - since the gestation period is a little over two months, that would be about 5 or so weeks to go before anticipated delivery.
I really don't think she is pregnant. I am going to take her in to the vet in a little while.Originally Posted by WellingtonCats
They wont be red they will just be pink. You can feel milk anytime from about 10 days till she's due to only minutes before she's due. It depends on the individual cat.
Yes, she was a stray... It is just sad because I have had her here for so long execpting babies!Originally Posted by WellingtonCats
That would be good though right? She is a domestic?
