I don't have any of the "fancy" cat trees or anything, just furniture from my childhood & chepie fun scratchers/toys. I noticed that I have tons of pics of my babies & their favorite furniture, so I thought I would post pics & reccomend(sp?) some of these things all at once!!

This is the ultimate in cat furniture. It is much more fun to lay on when there are critters inside(gerbils to be exact).

This is a Booda Track 'n Scratch gym I ordered from Target.com. It was $30 & definately worth it. Lily loves to sit on it, scratch on it, play with the ball in the base & play in the holes on one side.

one of my grandparent's hired hands from the '50s built. There are two of them, but Lily doesn't like the rocking chair. It is big enough that Twitch can sit in it, but Lily gets good & comfortalbe to sleep in it.

This is the two of them in the crate Lily was in for awhile(medical reasons). The blue cube in the back is a Buster Cube from Target.com. They come is packs of two & were $10. There are toys handing from the top inside & you can connect as many as you want. Put a blanket inside & they make great sleepy caves(Lily is sleeping inside).

This is a chair for little kids(toddlers) that

This is Maggie & the cats Buster Cubes from Target.com at Thanksgiving.

Yes, I am aware that she isn't a cat! This is just to prove how much fun those cubes are!

We also have doll bunkbeds from the '80s that we put pillows on. You can see the very edge of them in the first pic. They are the perfect height for most of the windows upstairs, & Twitch prefers them to a cat window perch. I don't seem to have any clear pictures of them anywhere.

What do your babies have in terms of furniture(whether it was yours at one time of not
).

I'm hoping I will get another digital camera for the holidays (my old one got messed up by the salty air where we lived for 3 years--we lived on the beach in New Hampshire).

Seth-chan loves climbing our computer chairs and sleeping under the futon. She also likes to sleep or hide in one of the kitchen table chairs (only if it's pushed in completely).

Where do you get these?
I went to WalMart and they only had the cat cube bed for $14 with one opening.
Where do you get the cheap ones mentioned on here for like $3 with all four sides with openings?

I put this bandana on him one day when he was sleeping....I got a kick out of it!

Well Phenom like to sleep in our big "mushroom" chair. We have limited seating and when our friends come over and sit in her chair she will stare them down until they get up!

Sometimes it is hard to get some sleep around here when all of the kitties 'crash out' on your bed.....

We all know who really runs our homes right? I know I'm not the only one that will contort myself while sleeping so as not to disturb my little clan who has taken over my bed:

(By the way - I'm an artist too - can't you tell by my self portrait??
)

Here's my little hellion...we call this one "The Guard". My fiance left a case of water at my house and she kept a close eye on it while he was away....LOL

That is a really cool cat toy...I'll have to see if I have room for one after I move. Right now I sure don't, I have cat toys everywhere.

I don't have any pictures of my boys on their newest piece of furniture, I got them a cat tree this Christmas. But their both sleeping on the back of the loveseat that they have claimed in my signature.

And here's a picture of Samwise on the back of the sofa.

And Gandalf on the unmade bed.

Samwise also has a chair at my parent's house and the piano that he likes to hang out on that I need to get pictures of.

Yeah - isn't that drawing great! You'd never know that my grandmother was an artist. I have her paintings all over my house. Apparently that skipped my generation.
. In fact - now that I think of it - most all of the "talents" skipped my generation. My mother is great at gardening - and I can kill just about any plant in less than 24 hours. Good thing I"m much better with cats.....
