Petals is ill and needs ya'lls GOOD VIBES!!

OKay well I noticed Petals was limping this morning and when I picked her up she felt warm. So I rushed her to the vets and her temp was almost 105!!!
He said her leg was swollen, so he shaved some hair off of her leg and noticed a sore. He said it hasn't abcessed yet, but it has cause an infection inside.
He gave her a shot and she is on antibiotics 2 x's a day.

The sore itself is not very big but it has obviously caused an infection. She has eaten alittle and drank a little too. But still sleeping alot.

I also wanted to add..... I wonder if maybe the sore came from Garfield playing too rough with her.
I hate to blame but he does play rough with her all of the time. Which she seems to enjoy.

Tiger hurt Glory once when they were playing. I guess it can happen. I'm sure you are taking good care of her though!

She just woke up and walked over for some water and she is still limping but not near as much!!

Thank you. I think that antibiotic is really starting to kick into her little system.
I just hate seeing my babies sick. I feel helpless.

We once adopted a cat who we had to give to a trustworthy friend after a week, because she beat up Poodle kitty. (Whos first owners had her declawed, leaving her defenseless) Poodle ended up with a big absess on her front leg, had to be given antibiotics and her wound cleaned several times a day. She was too traumatized to eat, drink, or go to the litter box.
But this was not the result of playing. The other cat was trying to intimidate Poodle.
