Ash is sitting here "reading" the board with me in my lap,lol..he also wants our friends here at TCS to know what a smart kitty he is! My Ash taught himself..yes..HIMSELF(with NO help from me) how to go pee pee in the toilet! He still uses his box to poo and Im hoping one day he will do it in the toilet as well. Funny story... the first time I cuaght him doing it, I was just in the other room and heard water trickling..well, I thought I had left the water running a little form my recent shower.. but no..lo and behold there sat Ash, perched on the toilet! I almost hit the floor,LOL! I have yet to catch a pic of this, but as soon as I do..I'll definately post it! BTW..the pics of him on the tattered and beat up chair are ones of him on HIS chair...the only place in the house that he sctratches on...thats why its so beat up,lol!

He is beautiful!!! How amazing that he is using the toilet. I wonder what makes them think to even go there?? Wow!!!

I wondered about the couch but figured it must be his special scratching place.

yes, he is Meowmy's Love Bug... I tell you, this cat thinks that people were put on this earth for one reason and one reason only..and thats to give him PLENTY of petting. He loves to be petted, even on his belly. He is a strictly in door cat and neutered, but he was a sweetie doll even before I neutered him. I think he's the most affectionate cat I have ever had. BTW, I am trying to keep my camera ready so i can catch him on the potty..LOL.

He's so beautiful. It's just amazing how he knows to use the toilet to go potty. I wish my babies would do that.

Thanks, Hope..I dunno what made him decide to do it, other then watching me do it(he has to follow me everywhere, and that includes the bathroom,lol) but I am glad its a habit he picked up..now if I can get him to do ALL of his business in the toilet! But of course I'd still keep a box on hand for if he were sick or soemthign and unable to jump up on the toilet.

I love grey cats, you don'tsee pure grey ones around here much, is he fully grey?

Yep! Not a single white spot on him anywhere! He's grey/blue from his lil grey nose to tip of his tail..

I have seen a few on here, but no..they aren't very common around where I am.
