Winter three years ago a stray adult male arrived at our house. I befriended him and had him nutered but left him outside because I had 2 inside. That the spring he came home with a feral kitten. He treated the kitten as his. He even laid down and let her suckle. They were inseperatable. I have never been able to befriend the kitten, Hissy. I did trap her and had her sprayed. Now the sad part. The male has dissappeared. He was old (ear was even turning white) has been gone a month. Poor Hissy is lost. She has become more recluse and does not come out of hiding when we are outside. It breaks my heart. Should I continue with her living outside or should I trap her and bring her inside even though she is antisocial. I lost my best friend last week, my 11 year old indoor male, to sudden death.
I still have a 11 year old female inside. I need some thoughts.

If you are concerned about her and you have the space...you can trap this girl and bring her indoors...however, I would give her her own room initially and not allow interactions between the 2 cats until you know more about how she will react.
