I was in SUCH a hurry this morning because I'd overslept my alarm. I had about 10 minutes to get ready for work, and that included feeding all the animals!!

I jumped in the shower and grabbed a dress off the bed. This is a wraparound dress that does up with ties.

Got to work with a minute to spare and was pottering around for about half an hour. I had been over to theatre to see the anaesthetist. I had gone and got a coffee. I had had a chat with the guy at reception in the front of the hospital about my dogs (a weekly occurrence). I got back to my desk.

Then the other doctor's secretary arrived. She said,

`You've got your dress on inside-out'

LOL! I can't even count how many times I have gone to work with my shirt on inside out, backwards, or even both! I also had a co-worker who went to work once wearing her slippers- she forgot to take them off and put on her shoes.

That reminds me, I had a classmate in college who wore 2 different shoes to class. In her defence she had to get a 2 year old up and to daycare and they were the same style, just different colors. Navy and brown I believe.

Also if you watch my cousin's wedding video you'll see thier neighbor who is also my aunt's best friend, walking across the dance floor with the majority of the back of her dress in her stockings.

Well I had a real bad deal one time also, but I can
about it now, I was in Costco here it's a big warehouse store, and I used to wear leggings all the time and you know they fit kinda like a glove
and they were NEW
Well I was standing in line and some women said I think you forgot to take the tag thingee off, well it was a strip about 12 inches long
on the back of the leg so it covered pretty much the whole dang thing, all the way from below my butt to past my knees
the tag said about 6 times in fairly good size letters SIZE SMALL, I was like oh my gosh thanks
I imagne there were a few people
while I walked all over that place

Oh, but accidentally wearing something inside out is supposed to be good luck! At least, that's one of the many superstitions my grandmother passed along to me. :-)

I've done that with my scrub tops, and the thing that sucks about that is, that by the time you notice, you've got deodorant marks on the side of your shirt that should be on the outside!

I guess that's as opposed to wearing something inside out on purpose??

And speaking of.....we just got some pics back from our Thanksgiving Dinner at work last week. There is one of my co-worker, standing at an angle that kinda makes her butt look big, and the date is printed across it!

Two weeks ago, I am in a hurry to get to work (always the hurries that get us!) and about an hour and a half into work, I look down at my feet. I have one black sock and one .... light tan footy sock... you know the ones with skids on the bottom?

Being the person I am, I immediately went to my coworks and basically annoucned (just in case they noticed and were giggling behind my back) that look what a bonehead I was today. Everyone laughed - one guy said he noticed, but thought the tan sock was an ace bandage.

Ooh, I'm the same way. I'd rather announce my stupidity before someone notices it on their own! I laugh at myself before someone else can!

That's funny.
I thought it was going to be worse though, like all the ties at the back were loose and reavealing or something. I wore a collared, button up shirt inside out in public this past summer. Fortunately, it was just a shirt and I was able to turn it right side out on the spot.

Oh this is such a funny thread!

I remember when I was younger and much slimmer, I had this outfit that was like a shirt and shorts in one, and one day I was biking home from the beach and the shirt part flew open and exposed by bra to the world - in front of a police car no less! That was SO embarrassing.

I had a teacher in high school who would actually wear 2 different shoes to school as an experiment to see who would notice - not many people noticed but I also had a deputy principal who was a bit addlebrained and would wear 2 different shoes and I would notice it all the time. She wasn't all there

Eeeexactly! I walked across an airport terminal once with a big long trail of toilet paper stuck to my shoe. God now THAT was embarrassing - it was about 50 trillion metres long how did I not notice??????

And I remember my most embarrassing clothing moment EVER, was when I was in Year 10 at highschool (14yo) and I had this super crush on a boy in Year 12. I was walking past him making doe-eyes and smiling flirtatiously once, and the walk was about 50 metres, then when I got back to where I was sitting my friend told me I had blood on the back of my skirt. It turned out that I had just sat in tomato sauce, but I swear I was too embarrassed to show my face at school for about a month!!!
