my 6 month old cat shivers uncontrolably as if shes cold when she lays down and when sleeping its not cold is she sick?

She needs to be examined by her Vet promptly.

I agree! I've seen very tiny baby kittens shiver like that just because their nervous systems aren't fully in tune yet -- but at six months, it's no longer normal.

about 2 weeks ago she seemed kinda weird for several hours where she acted like she was seeing sum thing that was nt there it was startling her sorta was like maybe she couldnt see good for a lil while or sum thing
it went away overnite next day she was fine
this shivering has only recently started she looks sad to me ...i just want to cover her up
if i hold her she stops shirvering

She is sick, please see a vet quickly.
