One of the workers just brought me a big stack of newspapers they found secreted behind the walls that are coming down. Dated July 26, 1945 they are in pretty good shape and I am sitting here reading all about Hitler and the war and Stalin and Churchill! I had no idea that the German army launched balloons of explosives across the sea to drift to the shores of America and England.
Reading about how some school children lost their arms and legs when they reached for a colorful balloon on the way home from school. There are classified ads too an 8 piece dining set for $8.95!

What an incredible find! That must be so interesting to read history as it was made. And you could probably make some pretty good money off of them if you ever needed it!

Wow! That is so neat! They are probably in such good condition because they were protected from light and moisture.
