So seeing as Christmas is upon us I decided to put up the tree a little early this year.

To my horror when I came back from work the tree was bare!! Not a decoration in site. Even the star was off the top!!!!

I decorated the tree again and sat down on the lounge to admire it when a grey and white dart flew across the room and shot up into the tree. Suddenly there were decorations everywhere. I had never seen anything like it. It was as if this little ball of fur had something against Christmas.

So now every day after work I redecorate the tree and just keep counting down the days till I take it down. The girls are not fussed at all by it (they do eat the bottom branches though) but apparently the Christmas tree is Gilberts new play thing.

Anyone else have this problem?????

I LOVE your description of the event! And what adorable kitties! Last year, Joey & JC were 5 mos. old & absolutely facsinated with the tree- so the tree was up only a few days.
Sounds like your tree is the nightly entertainment
maybe you can get some good video of the action!

Awww, it sounds like Gilbert is having lots of fun.
I won't even dare put up a Christmas tree this year because I know April Joy would destroy it. I'm getting her a kitty tree instead.

Aww, I bet Gilbert had a blast!!

I had my tree up for about a week now, and I decorations on it and everything, but he got into those and I found myself upset and redecorating every night, so now, I just have a tree, with lights and a star, no bother anymore! He hasn't tried (yet) to get up in there since there arent any decorations....just lights now! We'll see how long this lasts...
