Fat? no.

Sick in your blood. this may have some validity in that if anyone gets any numbe of tattoos or piercings, they are opening themselves up for disease transferrance if they are not careful of who does the tatto/piercing. Going to any reputable tattooist or pierrcer significantly lowers the risk. make sure to ask that they use a sterilzed, packaged needle, and open it in front of you to prevent contamination.

So there you are. As long as you are careful it shouldn't matter how many piercings you have in what prt of your body.

The only thing I have heard of is that when you go higher up in the ear, meaning above the ear lobe, you may be more prone to allergies because it can cause a negative acupuncture effect... I don't know how much truth there is to this, but I think it makes some sense. The body is sensitive in many ways, and I don't see why there would not be any reactions. I personally avoid those kinds of piercings; I don't think it's healthy. I do have 1 piercing in each of my ear lobes, which I did years ago. If it was today, I'm not sure if I would do even that, but it's probably OK. I am always careful to buy only the hypoallergenic ear rings, just because I don't want to be exposed to possible allergens that may cause me to get allergies to deal with later on.
Just my thoughts.... Do whatever you think, but make an informed decision. Do a searc on google on something like "ear piercings dangers problems" and see what you come up with. It's always nice to know ahead of time.

How long did it take for your belly to heal? I had my done last December, and the piercer said it healed...but it healed really weird. The ring is sideways...

I enjoyed reading this!!!
I cannot comment on this as I have never had my ears (or any other parts) pierced.
But does that nail I stepped on last Sept count???
DH says I have enough holes in my head already!!!

caprice, a navel piercing can take up to 2 years to heal. Do you have an actual round ring in it that is lying sideways? If you do, you can replace it with a barbell, and it will probably be ok. Rings will sometimes lay to one side in a healed peircing, because the swelling is gone from it, and the inside is smooth, so nothing to hold the ring up any more.

Sam, i know what you mean, but it really depends on how the person dresses, looks, and what kind of earrings they wear
