I'm partial to tabbies. That was the first cat I ever had. Amarna chose us, and was the sweetest most loving cat. Seamus is white and tabby. Gator's an orange tabby. With spots on his belly.

When I lived in Gainesville, FL. I met an man through work who had two cats with the most unusual pattern. They were bright red and yellow with bulls-eye markings on their bellies. They were lovely.

And I think Scottish Folds are terribly precious.

I love all cats. I do have to say I would love to have a polydactyl like my parents. They are just so neat with their little mitten feet! I love all colors, I love stripes solids spots, and those that look like someone got all creative with a paint brush (like my dear gabby!)

Some days I think, wow I would like to have a tuxedo cat, other days, a blue or gray, or one with points or even blue eyes. I guess what I am saying is I love them all!

I'm partial to tabbies and tuxedos (wonder why?), but the tortie that I started feeding at work is a beauty. Oh yeah, the black cat is too. White cats seem so soft and orange ones have such catitude. Siamese are elegant. Um... I think I like them all.

I've taken a liking to anything gray. I'm not sure exactly how it happened, but our house is entirely full of gray cats. All of them, except our first baby Biff, we found on the streets. Four cats later, and the gray masses are still growing. =D

Everyone has there favorite, I guess! lol CoolCat, do you think between the two of us we can take KittenKiya?? (I think them's fightin words!!
) I always wanted to be on TV! If Milky is king, can T be Queen??? Maybe then we could take turns bowing to the two of them?

Here's a question to all: How long did you have to sit there to think about what color or breed is your favorite?? Hours? Days? Weeks? Months? Still thinking? lol

I LOVE Abyssinians. I happen to have one that is at least half. She looks like a (fat) ruddy Aby except for her muzzle, legs, and belly which are snow white. Her fur is VERY short and soft.

My other favorite cat breed is the Siamese. Also, just recently I was lucky enough to adopt an older, lovey-dovey seal-point male. He is purebred but the fee at the shelter is waived for any cat over ONE year old. Nibbly is 9.

Speaking of breeds, can someone explain to me why some Siamese have a super short and sleek coat with almost NO coloration on the back, while others (like mine) have a very coarse, longish coat? My cat's coat is rough and very thick.

There is no breed or color that I am partial to. I have had white, calico and gray tabbies. To me, it's more a look in their eye, or the shape of their face or a sad kitty in need that just sucks me in!
