i have recently adopted a 2 year old cat (about 3 weeks ago). She seems to be adjusting very well and I know that she lived with other cats before in her foster home. I am having a guest that will be bringing her cat with her overnight -- i am wondering what the best way is to have our cats interact -- or, whether i should just keep them separated completely for the night. To do that, I would have to move my kitty's litter box to a different location (as it is currently located in the guest room). Even though this would only be for the night, i am concerned this might confuse her and lead to litterbox avoidance problems (and she has been so good !!!) If it would be ok to let them roam around together, do i let them use the same litterbox?
I am a new cat owner and would greatly appreciate any advice. Thanks!
