I was thinking the other day, that TCS is such a popular site with so many members, who are all good friends, and all based on personality, and not looks, income, where you live, or anything like that. It's so NICE to be able to not have all that rubbish in the way of getting to know someone.

There is such a broad cross-section of people along here, of all walks of life, all races, all cultures and so on....

It's almost like a microcosm of the world in general - although I'd like to add, that if it WERE a true microcosmic representation, the world would probably be a much nicer place!!

Yes, that is very true. But just for the record, I am stunningly gorgeous, terribly rich, and live in a splendid mansion! LOL! If you believe that, I have a feral kitten to sell to you....


And also true that the world would be a better place if we looked beyond the superficial to what is inside!

I am fairly new, and started with a post that I needed immediate help with, and got the help I needed very fast, and was ALL very helpful. And now my problem is gone
but I still will continue to use this site, because I love all you's and I love all you's advice and help and concern and love and OH i just love this site!

Oooh, Becky, you too?! We can both be stunningly gorgeous and live in our mansions together, where we will sleep atop heaping piles of hundred dollar bills!!!!

Seriously, I don't think I'd be half the kitty mama I am without everyone's help. And I KNOW I wouldn't be getting through my current problems, either. Everyone here is just so sweet and helpful!

I agree that the world would be a much nicer place if everyone was a cat lover.
And I DO believe that everyone on this forum is really really nice, and I thank all of you for that.

How very true. I'm relatively new here but instantly warmed to all of you lovely lot and your gorgeous feline friends and i know me and my furry friends will be very happy here.

The funny thing is that it's more about the way they type than actual personality until you actually know them in person/phone and can hear the way they actually speak their words.


I've noticed for a long time that on the internet, we assume what we want to about people. Or what we need to. Not that I don't think everyone here is nice.

I think its a very sweet thought also


However, its not that entirely accurate of a cross-section of society (or microcosm) as we may want to think.
1) The majority of us are women
2) We are relatively well off enough financially to afford PC's and Internet access, as well as treat our kits like kings and queens.
3) We like cats and the majority of us would qualify as being at the upper level of "animal lover".

Basically, we all have more in common than the average random 1,000 people.

That is so, so true. I've never met any other cat or animal lovers that love/care for to the extreme as people here do. That is why I fell in love with this place.
