Hi Friends...

I was wondering if exist some way to avoid the "fouling in teeth"I try to train to Mr Amo Bonito with the Tooth brush , but is almost impossible
...yes...I know that I should to do with him when It was a kitten but at this moment we found a Toothbrush and of course specially for kittys....( the brand is Four Paws).... we buyed this a the pet store a couple of months ago...we trying to do this around once per week but is very hard....
his majesty try to bite me, I don´t blame and I try to do sooooo softly but I see that not helps much...
......

anyone to have another method or product to help to avoid the fouling in teeth????

In advance...thanks for your comments!

Hi Rigel, we have a little soft rubber brush that you put on your finger and when the kitty is sitting with you just rub it over his teeth and gums.

We got it at our local pet store.

Rigel, how frustrating for both you and Milky!

We have treats in the UK called DentaBits (Whiskas) and you just give them a couple a day and they clean their teeth! They work really well and kitties enjoy the treats too!

I just looked at it. All it says on it is "Four Paws" and "Made in Taiwan". It's very soft, about 1 and 3/4 inches long, fits over your finger like a finger puppet and has soft plastic bristles that look kind of like a toothbrush.

Thanks! I've been wanting to try these, but keep forgetting about it.

I don't brush Cupid's teeth as often as I should because he hates it. So sometimes I put the cat toothpaste on the tiny cat toothbrush and let him lick/chew on it, so he will get some cleaning in the process.

I used the nubby plastic finger thing before also, and like it better because it requires less accuracy and time than the toothbrush! I got a kit with both in it, and the nubby thing was to get the cat used to having something in his mouth. It's also hard to keep a cat's mouth open enough to brush, but the nubby thing is big so it keeps his mouth open on its own.

I give him dental treats also.
