My Babies Daddy Died This Weekend

I adopted two little orange feral babies that we bottle fed from one week of age. They were born at my place of work in the warehouse. We have been trying to catch the parents to give them to a lady that has a feral colony and will get them fixed, but they are rather trap smart. This morning when I drove into the parking lot, I saw a big orange cat dead on the side of the road, so I drive out there beside him and looked for the white patch on his hip and it's my little ones Dad...my little Abby looks just like him...at least I know his babies will not meet that fate...

Godspeed over RB, big orange tomcat At least you will be happily at peace on the other side, out of the cold winter rain tonight, but I am so sorry that you did not have a chance to enjoy the love, warmth and comfort of a real home. Rest assured that your darling little ones have been rescued from the harsh life before suffering a similar fate. Bless you, Redhead, for rescuing little Abby & sibling. I know that kittens that young are lots of work, but they are the best companions you could ever hope for - the bond is so strong & complete!
