I'm back in Sarajevo after one of the busiest and most tiring weekends ever! But it all got done with only a few glitches. The moving truck got stuck in snow and missed the ferry so turned up 6 hours late, and we had to completely dismantle my favourite piece of furniture - a big old dresser, before we could get it out. Also, the guy who has been redecorating my old bedroom so that the damage made by the taking away of the fitted wardrobes looked OK, couldn't find new skirting board to match the old. My new house in France is now full of furniture in the wrong places - the kitchen, bathroom and hall look like a crazy auction room. But I guess it will all be fine eventually. There are still several months of work to be done - I hope it will be finished by February so the cats and I can follow the furniture and move in. So thanks for the vibes, I thought of you all several times on Saturday (in England) and Sunday (in France), and while on the way back here today as we landed in a snowstorm. The cats were all delighted to see me of course, leading me straight to the foodbowls!

Jenny I'm so pleased that despite the glitches, you managed to get everything across!
I bet you were ready to sit and relax with your kitties when you got back!

It will be lovely once everything in France is sorted and you and your kitties are on your way to your wondefful new home!

Jenny, you picked the worst weekend of the year to move, weather-wise. Did you at least have electricity in your part of France?
