Does anyone know how harmful the garlic in Acana can be? my cats just finished a large bag of Orijen and i bought some Acana for a change and they LOVE IT !! ... Those two are the only grain free foods available here...
Ok, that is not something nice, do not understand then why they use it in cat food.. or does damage ocurs when ingested in big quantities and the qty in cat foods are minimal??Originally Posted by sharky

I currently use the Acana grain free which is garlic free with good results
I live in Canada where Orijen is made and I pay $45.00 for the 7 kilo bag.Originally Posted by ronit
I saw yesterday the new price list for Orijen an Acana Grain Free
Orijen - 7 kilo - 47.50 euro !!
Acana grain Free - 2.5 Kilo ...... 21.50 euro !!!!
That is OUTRAGEOUS !!
I went into a US website that sells petfood and the 2.5 acana costs around 19 usd = 13 euro !! and the orijen 7 kilo around 44 usd = 30 euro !!
It is actually the first time I compare prices between US and Greece...
I wonder if there is any grain free food made in EU. probably will be cheaper...
I just bought a bag of Acana today to try - I paid $17.99 Cdn. for 2.5 kg (5.5 lbs) plus 15% tax which brings it up over $20.00.Originally Posted by ronit
